Dear Resident 

We have received a number of calls in relation to vehicle crime in the Thornton-Cleveleys area over the weekend. 

It appears that individuals wearing balaclavas have been captured on CCTV cameras trying car doors in the early hours. On occasion they have been able to access vehicles and take property from within. 

This behaviour is very opportunistic and residents are asked to ensure that vehicles are left locked and secure and that no valuables are left inside.
